When the global market leader for logistics process automation called saying their IT department didn’t want anything to do with the OT networks on their new $1.4B facility project, we were happy to jump in. Over the next 16 months we provided network consultation, configuration, hardware, software, FAT testing, startup support and documentation for multiple components of the project.

First, the production OT network included over 100+ PLCs, 1250+ VFDs, 60 Industrial Firewalls, 60 Managed Switches supporting up to 3 DLR rings with up to 50 nodes ea on every switch.

Second, as hundreds of engineers were performing commissioning activities over the course of a year a major temporary commissioning infrastructure was required. This network included another 60 managed switches, 60 Wireless Access Points, 2 Cellular Gateways, a Load Balancing Router, and Secure Remote Access.
